Jewellery Class - Couples Wedding Band Workshop

Turn a simple band into a lasting symbol of your story, and make the memory of creating them part of your journey.

In this two-part private class, you'll create a one-of-a-kind cast band ring from start to finish. In Session 1, you'll learn how to measure, carve, and prepare your wax models for casting. Session 2, scheduled at least three weeks later, will focus on finishing your castings after they return from the casting company. Together, you'll refine, polish and add the final touches that make your bands uniquely yours. 

Your workshop fee covers two participants & includes hands-on instruction, all consumables, HST, and enough sterling silver (10g per person) to create a beautiful wedding band for each of you. You may make your rings in gold instead of silver if you wish. If that's your choice, the value of the included silver will be credited toward your gold purchase. Gold pricing is based on weight and current market prices, which change daily. I can help you with an estimate ahead of time so you'll know what to expect.

This workshop doesn't have set dates. After you book, I'll reach out to arrange the scheduling details with you. If you'd prefer to check dates first, just send me a message with your preferred date(s) & time(s). 

To celebrate the occasion, I include a beautiful ring box and polishing cloth for each ring as my gift to you. Perfect for holding your new rings during your ceremony and keeping them sparkling.

Location: 213 John St. in Pontypool, ON. You are welcome to park in the driveway. Street parking is also available. The studio is located at the back of the property behind the house - follow the driveway up to the grey building with double doors; there will be signs. Winter note: The studio is an insulated outbuilding, comfortable for working, but cooler than a house. Layers and a cosy sweater are recommended for the start of class.

Note: Sorry kids, participants must be 18+ for insurance purposes.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations more than 3 days before class are eligible for a credit or refund minus a $25 cancellation fee. For group bookings (3-4 students), the fee is $25 per person. This fee helps cover materials that have already been purchased and prepared. There is no refund or credit for cancellations less than 3 days prior to the start of class. A registration may be transferred to another person at no charge. For group bookings, if someone in your group can't attend, you may replace them with another participant at no charge.
