Jewellery Classes in Kawartha Lakes

Learn the art of jewellery making in my new teaching studio! Practical and project focused, these small-group classes are designed to teach real techniques while guiding you through the creation of a finished jewellery piece; suitable for beginners or those with some hands-on experience.

Classes are taught by me (Kyla) -- a professional goldsmith working in the industry since 2005. Over the years, I've taught at private studios, worked as a technician in the jewellery studio at OCADU, and taught the model-making continuing education course at George Brown College. After a teaching hiatus, I'm excited to be offering classes again in my own studio!

Group sizes are small, allowing for plenty of individual instruction, time for questions, and a friendly, relaxed studio environment.

Winter note: The studio is an insulated outbuilding, comfortable for working, but cooler than a house. Layers and a cosy sweater are recommended for the start of class.
