Dive into this fun, hands-on workshop where you'll design a unique fine silver pendant, charm, or earrings using precious metal clay (PMC). You'll learn how to create a silicone mold from a tiny nature treasure, a fingerprint, or any little keepsake. This mold lets you recreate your design over and over at home if you want! Then, you’ll fire your PMC item with a torch, turning "clay" into solid fine silver, before polishing it and adding a bail or ear wires to finish your handmade treasure.
Beginner-friendly. Small class (max 4 students), Course fee includes all materials to complete your project, hands-on instruction and taxes. Up to 10g of PMC silver is included to complete your project.
Date & Time for Next Class: Sunday, October 12th 1:00pm - 4:00pm (Participants may stay until 5:00 if they need extra time to finish their piece). If the listed date doesn't work for you, I'm happy to accommodate groups on alternative dates whenever possible. Get in touch to schedule dates and times for your group. Class times are typically 1-4pm or 6-9 and include three hours of guided instruction, plus an optional hour of open studio time in each session for finishing or experimenting.
Important: Precious metal clay is a specialty material that I order fresh specifically for this class. To allow time for the materials to arrive, please register at least 7 days before the class date. If you'd like to sign up closer to the date, contact me first to ensure materials are available.

To keep your jewellery looking it’s best:
*Avoid direct contact with perfume, body lotion, hair spray or other chemicals - allow perfume or lotion to dry before wearing.
*Never expose jewellery to household cleaning products.
*Remove your jewellery before bathing, showering, swimming or entering a hot tub.
*Remove before sleeping.
*Remove jewellery when participating in physical activities (cleaning/gardening/sports)
*Gently wipe off excess oils or perspiration with a soft cloth.
*Store in a tightly sealed plastic bag (ziploc) or box to minimize tarnish.
How to remove tarnish:
*Light tarnish may be removed with a gentle wipe with a polishing cloth, followed by washing using a toothbrush with dish detergent & water. Rinse well & pat dry.
*Heavier tarnish (on jewellery without gemstones) may be removed with a dip cleaner & thoroughly washed using a toothbrush with dish soap & water. Rinse well & pat dry.
*Never expose pearls or porous gemstones to dips or other chemical cleaners.

Made to Order!
As an independant maker, it's hard to keep every piece (in all sizes & colour variations) in stock at all times.
In the case that an item is not in stock, I am happy to make one to your specifications just for you!
Please contact me to let me know which piece you would like, as well as the size / colour variation, or any other requests you may have. I'll let you know the lead time you can expect (this can vary depending on my current projects) and get to the bench ASAP!
